Raasta kurkut ja sipulit karkeaksi raasteeksi. Kiehauta liemi mausteineen. Lisää sekaan kurkku-sipuliraaste, silputtu tilli ja kuutioidut paprikat väriä antamaan. Keitä seos miedolla lämmölla kuultavaksi. Purkita pikkelsi.
